Grief and the body

An embodied exploration of grief and love

This six-session group course offers a space to explore grief through the wisdom of the body. Through direct and experiential contact we will build support for embodied reconnection, relational presence, and a deep sense of belonging within the living world.

Together, we’ll follow a gentle map that honours grief’s natural, necessary movement - inviting all aspects including what’s clear and what is murky and unnamed - to be felt, expressed, and integrated.

Grounded in Eugene Gendlin’s Focusing, Authentic Movement, Somatic Experiencing, this course also draws from Feldenkrais, and the Felt Sense Polyvagal Model. Through guided practices, embodied inquiry, and shared reflection, you’ll reconnect with your body, community and the living world as wise and enduring companions in grief.

Whether you’re grieving a loved one, a lost future, the Earth, or something harder to name you are welcome here.
